Here are some recipies you can use to bring a taste of Revolution into your kitchen
Mac & Cheese
1 cup of heavy cream 1 cup of aged white cheddar cheese 2 cups of penne* pasta * can substitute with any type of pasta salt, pepper, fresh thyme, aged parmesan Optional add ons, chorizo, wild mushrooms, sausage |
Add cream to a saucepan, season with salt, pepper and fresh thyme, cook over medium heat for 1-2mins, then add cheddar. Stir for aprox 1min until a sauce forms. Cook pasta in advance, and add in at this stage. Season with more salt & pepper if needed, and top with fresh parmesan |
Slow Cooked Chicken Wings
Chicken Wings Flour, Salt & Pepper Vegetable oil for frying Franks Hot sauce |
Spread wings on oven tray and season with salt, pepper and olive oil. Cook on med heat until the chicken is cooked and reads an internal temp of 74C. (this can be done in advance if hosting guests/party. Allow wings to cool, and then refrigerate).
To finish, coat wings in flour and fry in hot oil for approx 5mins until the outer coating is crispy. Generously coat in franks buffalo hot sauce and serve! |
Carne Asada Marinade
(use for steak tacos or burritos) 3 cloves of garlic 1 bunch fresh coriander 1 tablespoon cumin 1/2 cup olive oil 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 teaspoon salt & pepper 2 teaspoons brown sugar zest of 1 lime (per 1 kg of steak) |
Combine all ingredients and add flank steak or chicken. Let marinate for at least 1 hour, or ideally overnight. Remove meat of choice and bbq or chargrill on cast iron pan. Slice against the grain and add your favourite toppings for awesome taco or burrito |
